Letter, 1675 May 26; Newport [R.I.] to Josiah Winslow Governour of Plimouth Colony. [manuscript].

Easton relates how Weetomuw/Weetamo, sachem of the Pocassets, and her husband showed him a letter by Constant Southworth dated 30 April 1675 by which the tribe feared English oppression. Cranston requests that Winslow hear the indian's case in Plymouth Colony's court to determine and officially record the boundary of the Pocasset's land.
